Nothing says more about you than the company you keep. When it comes to St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin, our customers speak on our behalf. Here is a series of comments either submitted to us or taken from review websites over the past couple of years. These are not “professional” cuisine critics working for newspapers, radio and TV stations. The comments here are from everyday people -- just like you and me -- looking for what Pete Zotos refers to as “big, honest food” served by friendly folks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Astounding Service!

I wanted to let you know that I introduced a group of my friends to
St. Pete’s last Saturday night, 9/15/12. Being their first time, I was
eager to see if they would fall for the place the same as I did many
years ago.

All 5 of them were VERY impressed, not only with the atmosphere and
friendliness of the staff, but with the food and drinks.

A special recognition is well earned by Rebecca, who not only took
care of us and made it look effortless, even as we moved to the patio,
but she interacted easily with everyone, making us laugh, and giving
bang-on recommendations for different fare and drinks to try.

We came because of the food. We’ll be coming BACK because of the
service. ~Gordon Sandlin

UT Fans

These guys stumbled upon St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin after walking from Fair Park during the UT/OU game.  I asked them what they liked about their new find and this is what some of them said:

Great environment, good food, awesome patio–Jonathan

Great atmosphere for sporting events, nice, spacious patio–Colin

Beer–Casey

Some of these guys are going to start taking DART Lightrail from North Dallas , which drops right off in Deep Ellum–what a great idea!

We live downtown and Pete’s place is my favorite hang out…the food is always great, service is second-to-none. Consistency is what separates the good restaurants from the great restaurants. Pete’s never disappoints. Pete’s is a great place to take friends and family.  -Larry

Everyone wonders why I have orange fingernails–Pete’s wings! They’re second-to-none! -Cooper

I come here once a year from Bellingham, Washington for Texas-OU Weekend.  Pete is my culinary hero in Dallas–always a warm welcome, a great seat and the best food. After 20+ years, it’s always the best.

I would gladly drive the 30 miles in rush hour from North Plano any night for dinner. Always great food and a great value. It is a excellent place for everything from a business lunch – to a weekend getaway from the cookie cutter restaurants in DFW. Friendly faces, and a fun atmosphere. Hell… even my 75 year old mother likes it. Tasty rattlesnake on St Patty’s Day, too!

I’ve known Pete a long time, since our S.M.U days. Whenever I get downtown, I always stop by to see him and enjoy his family recipe, of Bennos Pasta Salad or his famous and delicious Dancing Tuna Sandwich. I always feel at home at St. Pete’s. Every single time he sees me he says, “You-said-a-mouthful (my maiden name was Useda), and that always makes me chuckle. Pete’s good people.  Oh and my son loves watching sports at St. Pete’s and eating the delicious, juicy burgers-L. Law

Pete’s a good friend and we love hanging with him. I brought the rocks that are out front. Do you know what the rocks represent?
