St Pete's BirthdayTwenty years ago on December 4th, 1994, St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin opened it’s doors.

Pete’s states it so appropriately…

“It was twenty years ago today we cracked open the doors to St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin. Happy Birthday old sport! The party date is coming soon.

Thank you Dallas.”  ~ Pete Zotos

We appreciate each and every one of you for the 20 years of loyal patronage!!!

Deep Ellum is back!

Deep Ellum II St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin has been a Deep Ellum icon for almost twenty years. The neighborhood, on the other hand, has been on a roller coaster ride over that period. It just stands as a testament to the quality of food, service and ambiance that the Dancing Marlin has provided to the neighborhood and the city of Dallas.

Well, we’re proud to say Deep Ellum is back! New businesses are opening and thriving again. In fact, Deep Ellum is the place to be for outstanding restaurants and entertainment.

This is our personal invitation to visit St. Pete’s and explore all the new exciting additions to our “hood”.

Astounding Service!

I wanted to let you know that I introduced a group of my friends to
St. Pete’s last Saturday night, 9/15/12. Being their first time, I was
eager to see if they would fall for the place the same as I did many
years ago.

All 5 of them were VERY impressed, not only with the atmosphere and
friendliness of the staff, but with the food and drinks.

A special recognition is well earned by Rebecca, who not only took
care of us and made it look effortless, even as we moved to the patio,
but she interacted easily with everyone, making us laugh, and giving
bang-on recommendations for different fare and drinks to try.

We came because of the food. We’ll be coming BACK because of the
service. ~Gordon Sandlin

Why do we need a new website?

With everything to do in running a restaurant, it’s a wonder why I’d think I’d need a new website. But the truth is, there’s so much to this place that I want to share. For the regulars, they’ve heard all the stories, but for people who may not have experienced St. Pete’s there’s a lot to learn.  I hope you will find some interesting things on our new website and will come down to see me.

UT Fans

These guys stumbled upon St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin after walking from Fair Park during the UT/OU game.  I asked them what they liked about their new find and this is what some of them said:

Great environment, good food, awesome patio–Jonathan

Great atmosphere for sporting events, nice, spacious patio–Colin

Beer–Casey

Some of these guys are going to start taking DART Lightrail from North Dallas , which drops right off in Deep Ellum–what a great idea!

We live downtown and Pete’s place is my favorite hang out…the food is always great, service is second-to-none. Consistency is what separates the good restaurants from the great restaurants. Pete’s never disappoints. Pete’s is a great place to take friends and family.  -Larry

Everyone wonders why I have orange fingernails–Pete’s wings! They’re second-to-none! -Cooper

Red River Rivalry converges upon the Dancing Marlin!

Texas-OU Weekend at St. Pete’s was a resounding success.  We had nearly 500 people walk through our doors between Friday and Saturday night, including those who came for breakfast on Saturday before the game. We really appreciate all our fans.  Now we need to go fishing for some more tuna–they cleared us out of our famous Dancing Tuna!
